Whenever I'm in the mood for some Indian food, this place hasn't missed for me yet. Their curries are delicious, and their rice pudding desert is a must try.

One of my favorite stops to make in Fremont it's right down the street from my house, and they make the best Bindi from scratch and fresh to order, you can't beat that. Nawabs Kitchen fantastic food.

This is the only place where i like indian curries, tried other places but they put too much oil. Service is fast. Sometimes i go with my family, ambiance is nice too.

Good food and friendly staff. Paneer Nizami, Khumb biriyani and daal makhani are our favorite.

The chola batura was the best in the entire bay area. As well the dal makhni too good. The price is also quite reasonable. I also tried their ras malai and kheer. Seriously best in every item.

Delicious every time! Have to ask for sauce though, kind of annoying for the price. Fantastic flavor, my favorite in the Fremont area.

I'm not sure how this place isn't deep into 4-stars. It seems mostly due to a crew of Karens complaining about prices. We dropped $35 on two entrees, stuffed our faces with some rad tasty legit Indian cuisine, and had plenty left over for lunch. Very happy to have this place in our neighborhood. Clean restaurant, delicious food, reasonably priced family joint.

I went to this restaurant for dinner twice and I really liked the food. It's a perfect blend of all spices, every recipe has its own flavor. The veg and non-veg main course are excellent, served in a good, hygienic manner. The working staff is quite humble and polite. I would recommend this restaurant for family get togethers.

Amazing food and service , one of the best in Fremont, I would definitely recommend this place

Writing this review after multiple visits to "The Nawab's Kitchen". Most of our visits were on weekday/ evenings and we found the restaurant to have many open tables and thus no waiting!!!. We have now tried Mushroom Mutter (Dhingri Matar- Some places it is also referred as Khumb matar) and it was finger licking delicious. Our experience with Amritsari Dal Makhni w/ Laccha Paratha was amazing as well - The dish comes with steel Katori full of Dal Makhni. I have tasted Dal Makhni all over India and this Dal meets the best. The Laccha paratha was soft, well cooked and plain yummy. They normally give Gulab Jamun with this, but the sweet young server named Armaan requested us to try Kheer, which he said is prepared just now. Right on- The kheer was Excellent!!!. Not very sweet, appropriately viscous and downright delicious. So far everything that we have tried is excellent- Kulcha with Chana, Samosa Chat, Masala E Nimbu, Sweet Lassi, Masala Tea. We did not try any non veg food as we both are vegetarians, but we did pick some Chicken dishes for our son and I am pretty sure that it will turn out be great.

Highly recommend the Awadhi Murg Biryani! Nawab's Murg Tandoori leg quarters were perfectly cooked and moist. Nimbu Paani was amazingly fresh on a hot day. Amritsari Paratha came with whole array of assortments. Ambience is decent, service is quick! Must try for biryani lovers who want all flavours and not just spice!

I ordered several trays for a corporate event with less than 24 hours notice. The person in charge of catering was very helpful on the phone and took lots of time to help me through my order. They were flexible with the pickup time and were exremely helpful in carrying out dishes to my car and propping them up so they would not spill. I must have been told by 10 different employees how delicious the food was and that they hoped we would order from this restaurant in the future. It should be noted that sometimes it's very difficult to please all of the employees where I work, but this seemed unanimously awesome. We will definitely be ordering from Nawab's kitchen in the future.

My coworkers and I ordered takeout from here for lunch on a Friday. We ordered online through their website for pick-up. Pick-up was pretty smooth as I arrived when they said the food would be ready, and it was ready when they said it was. I ordered the Paneer Makhani with Rice off of their lunch combo menu. It was pretty delicious. The portion size was larger than I was expecting as well. My coworkers also enjoyed their items. One of my coworkers added a note to make it extra spicy, and it was indeed extra spicy. My coworkers and I decided we would put the restaurant into our Friday lunch rotation.

One of the best Choley Kulchay and Choley Bhaturay In the whole Bay Area original Authentic Punjabi style Kulchay are the best after Amritsar Must Try . The platter comes with a Raita and Kheer along with aachar and onions. The kheer was also so delicious had to order extra for take away Definitely going back again

I crossed them a few times while on Mowry Ave telling myself that I'll try them out and I tried. Ordered twice in the same week. They got their taste just right. Chicken do pyaaza is just right and so is their yakhni pulao. I recommend you go to them whenever you're hungry and sometimes for no reason at all.

Good food! The butter chicken, chicken tika masala, and the naans is a must. So far one of the best Indian food spot in fremont.

Not a fancy place but food is good. Enjoyed their chats and Chicken Tikka Masala. Service is okay, they don't speak English.

Whether you agree with my reasoning or not, this is the "New Chinese Food." Framing my review in this manner is not meant to be disrespectful to either culture. instead, it should provide context as to how a native Californian perceives a category of food, that up until this restaurant, previously only included Chinese food. California Chinese food has a certain stereotype for most people that grew up in the Bay Area. Big portions, white containers, and unfortunately, styrofoam boxes are part of an eating experience. Before there was pizza, there was Chinese food. There's no need to remind me that American Chinese isn't real Chinese, or Mexican American isn't real Mexican, but that's kinda the point in this case. Finding the sweet spot between authenticity and convenience for consumption is an art form. Honestly, Eastern nations typically don't do well when packing their entire flavor palette in a single dish, it's too much. Thus, everything is always served family style. It's a whole experience, and I would definitely consider Indian dinners in that category. You can still show up to Nawab's and catch the cricket drama on the TV, eat in a more traditional setting, or just swing by to pick up a to-go order. I couldn't tell you how authentic the food is, not being Indian means I'll never really be able to claim expertise, so the experience is what I crave. 💯 What I wanted... Are you looking for a way over proportioned, rice-based, flavor explosion without needing to put in much effort? Are you planning on watching Netflix, playing video games, or watching sports all day? With daily specials paired with naan, it's really a complete meal (probably enough for 2) that fills all the be lazy and eat checkboxes that were typically reserved for Chinese food.

The food was wonderful! Service was excellent and atmosphere was 3 instead of 5 stars only because they were renovating. Because of the inconveniences during renovation they gave us water, chai and appetizer on the house. I would definitely recommend this restaurant ❤️

Thankfully the food wasn't bland. We requested while ordering for spicy food and got what we expected (something we ask for at every restaurant we have eaten so far). We ordered Mutton Biryani and Goat Curry. The curry was well cooked, the meat tender and tasted delicious. I would also like to point out that the portion/serve size is excellent for the price. Though this place is not swanky - it is well maintained, clean and tidy. The service is excellent and attentive. The only sore point is that the kitchen staff talk loudly and can be heard all the while even if one is sitting near the entrance door!

The food is really nice , I was here from india and was missing Indian food. Please don’t miss the Lasooni Aloo Palak, Black Dal and the Lacha Paratha. Home like cooked food with super quick and efficient service. Highly recommended.

We ordered chicken biryani just right before the kitchen closed. Even though we received nice warm biryani with regular decoration with fried onion and egg. Biryani was nice and testy. The ambiance was nice and peaceful. Service is good and quick. They serve water in very unique way putting mint leaves and lemon. We would go back again and order/try more food.

Worth the price when compared to authentic taste and quality of food. I have tried Amritsari Kulcha dish and Laccha paratha in many restaurants in the Bay Area but I found this one is THE Best!!!
